Welcome to the new year. Today I, Annie Gichuru will be sharing a message about what you can expect from Uplifting Studios in the year ahead. 

Happy 2021 and how exciting to make it over to the other side. I’m so grateful to see the beginning of a brand-new year.

For me personally and professionally 2021 begins with expectation, anticipation and faith that whatever comes is in God’s hands. 

When it comes to Uplifting Studios, there is so much being planned and prepared behind the scenes and I’m telling you all about it in my latest vlog >click through to vlog< 

You may have connected with Uplifting Studios a long time ago or just recently but either way, before I launch into the plans for 2021, here’s a little recap of 2020.

2020 Highlights

• Rebrand- At the end of May we underwent a rebrand from True Life Stories to Uplifting Studios. The rebrand married my life coaching qualifications with storytelling and allowed me to begin working with many of you who identify as migrant women of colour; specifically, with the purpose to unshackle self-limiting beliefs so you can live a life of impact and purpose.

• Incorporating my experience- My role as a life coach has already evolved as I’ve integrated my HR expertise. This has seen a shift to a more focused coaching program specific to career and mindset for professional migrant women. 

• Regular Vlogging- I began sharing videos about my life experience and the tools I used to loosen the grip of self-limiting beliefs in my life. 

• Migrant Women of Colour Series on IGTV- If you didn’t catch any of these compelling interviews in 2020, you can find them on IGTV .  In 2021 we’ll continue to package and share the Migrant Women of Colour series to spread their messages to the world. 

Now that we’ve recapped 2020, let’s look at 2021 as we build upon the foundations set last year. This is what 2021 looks like:

What you can expect from Uplifting Studios in 2021

• Premiere of Season 3 – Formerly True Life Stories, Season 3 is premiering on Thursday 14th January and I couldn’t be more excited. Subscribe to Uplifting Studios TV to be notified as soon as it launches.

• Group Coaching- Midway through the year l’ll be introducing group coaching for professional migrant women of colour. If this interests you, I’d love to hear from you. Send me an email- [email protected]

• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – I’ll be working closely with the Beautiful You Coaching Academy as their DEI Coach and Consultant. You’ll see me in this space as I educate and advocate for diverse representation and raise the lid on current practices within the coaching and personal development industry along with how we can be more representative of our cultural diversity.

• Sponsorship Program- In 2021 the Uplifter Program will be revamped and re-released allowing Migrant Women of Colour who are experiencing financial hardship to receive coaching funded through sponsorship.

I’m so looking forward to serving you in 2021 as well as committing to being brave and stepping up and occupying the space I’ve been created to occupy.
