Firstly, you will notice we have re-branded.
We will no longer be known as True Life Stories and I’m so excited to introduce you to our new name….Uplifting Studios

Why the name change I hear you ask? Well the truth is, a wonderful series of events led me to a new story and a new name.
You can imagine there’s been a lot going on behind the scenes to get to this point and I wanted to provide you with some insight about how we arrived here today with a brand-new name and purpose.
This blog marks the official launch of Uplifting Studios and shares the reasons for saying goodbye to True Life Stories.
Firstly, as we move forward with our new name, I want to reassure you we will still be sharing stories of everyday people who have overcome challenges to live a life of purpose and impact. We are simply adding to what was already a wonderful platform.
Along with storytelling, the most significant news I am revealing is the addition of a new service – Life Coaching.
Quite a few things have changed since the launch of the documentary series formerly known as True Life Stories. Not only have we evolved from a production studio but I’ve evolved. I’ve become clearer on my vision for my life purpose and I’ve also added a new title to my qualifications.
So what’s the big change I speak of?
I’m proud to share I am now offering a Life Coaching Service.
Having completed my official training, I am a qualified Life Coach through the Beautiful You Coaching academy here in Australia.
When I first started the life coaching course in 2019, I wasn’t quite sure how or if coaching could fit into my storytelling work but as I began to dig deeper into the learning and chose to lean in; I allowed myself to be fully present and surprised even myself with a rising understanding.
I felt an undeniable clarity that I was made to coach.
I discovered a deep desire and love for coaching that I had never known was there and as I completed my studies I thought long and hard about who I’d love to support and serve.
The idea of connecting with underrepresented women was a recurring theme that persistently came to mind. Specifically migrant women of colour whom I felt my 20 year journey here in Australia closely reflected and is the area where I knew I could add most value.
I want to support women who are ready to unshackle their self-limiting beliefs and begin to create new positive stories that are full of purpose and impact.
Given all this, I felt it was time to switch things up a little and find a new name that was fitting of my new journey. A name that reflected life coaching and embraced the continuation of storytelling through documentaries and guest interviews.
Uplifting Studios was born.
In adding the life coaching service my intention is to serve you, to support you and guide you to the more that is already within you. This means also introducing a new format (in addition to the documentary format) which you can learn more about when you sign up to hear from me.
On the Documentary Series
I am very pleased to announce we are currently in post production of the newest season of our TV series which will be released via Uplifting Studios TV (our YouTube channel).
The newest stories will bring more transformational messages of hope to inspire you and remind you what’s really important in life.
It is shaping up to be a season defined by stories from unexpected people and some familiar faces you’ve come across on our social media platform.
With the newest series launching soon (along with life coaching sessions now open), there is so much brewing just under the surface so the best way to experience Uplifting Studios is to subscribe.
If you are new around here you won’t have known this space as any different but as I embark on this new multifaceted business offering, I am committed to sharing my coaching right here.
It is my hope that through my blogs you will receive insights that serve you and meet you where you are. I want you to believe that you too can begin to transform your mindset and live a life of purpose and impact.
