Racial equity work is deeply personal, nuanced and complex.
That’s why having a private and brave space to unpack is an essential component of building a racially equitable business.
1:1 DEI Consult
Racial equity work is deeply personal, nuanced and complex.
That’s why having a private and brave space to unpack is an essential component of building a racially equitable business.
When you feel safe enough to come messy, to meet your blindspots, and to be called forward into the powerful leader that you are, something incredible happens…
You disentangle from the paradigms you’ve always known, and create a business and life reflective of your values and commitment to inclusivity and representation.
And that’s exactly what I’ll support you to achieve during a private DEI consultation.
Inside these 90 minute sessions you’ll be held bravely with grace and compassion as you:
- Explore your implicit bias and shift the lens through with you view things
- Unpack and seek direction about specific events, or more general issues pertaining to race, equity, and inclusion
- Audit your business practices, programs, and marketing through the lens of racial inclusivity
- Set goals, and develop strategies for sustainability integrating racial equity work into your life and business
- Start making the incremental, yet significant changes within your business to call in more people of colour (like writing your DEI statement, developing an effective scholarship program, and more)
Give your business the personalised attention that’ll support you to build a racially equitable, and inclusive business that not only supports you, but creates ripples of meaningful impact for years to come!

It was really brilliant to have guidance from someone who’s so welcoming and supportive in the way that they coach.

Hey there lovely,
I’m Annie Gichuru, racial equity coach and consultant.
In 2020 as I watched the life of George Floyd being squeezed out of him while he lay helpless on the ground with a knee to his neck, saying he couldn’t breathe, asking for his mama, my heart broke in a way it hadn’t before.
I knew I couldn’t be silent anymore. It was time to start sharing the need for racial equity in my industry.
Being a black woman as well as a migrant has meant often going silent in order to “comply” with the rules and not upset the status quo. As a mother I often think about the legacy I want to leave my children who mean the world to me. I want to ensure they and others who are People of Colour get to see themselves represented in positions of leadership, influence and in business too.
That’s why I’m committed to creating a future where racial equity becomes the norm by supporting online business owners to build racially diverse, inclusive and equitable businesses in a way that honours their values.
If that’s the kind of future you’re interested in too – I’d love for us to journey there together.
Let’s lock arms and be part of that change.
Annie’s perspective and power, but her loving fierce way of delivering is second to none. I’m incredibly grateful to be a part of Annie’s world.
