When it comes to serving with integrity one of the most powerful things you can do in your DEI journey before you even start thinking of your business…is to do the INNER WORK.
What does that mean?
It means taking the time to learn and inform yourself on the barriers, challenges, and setbacks people of colour face. When you begin to really understand about racial inequity and the impact it has on different groups of people you begin to have the sensitivity and awareness required to hold inclusive spaces.
When you take the time to do the inner work and remain in it, you stop being performative – where one only shows up when the issue of inequity is trending. Or worse, tries to put strategies in place within their business to address inclusion and bypass doing the inner work.
There’s no shortcut to inclusion work, there’s no quick tick-box solution. You’ve really got to be in it to effect change.
Why?
Because it will not be a sustainable move for you or your business.
These are conversations that keep happening in the coaching and personal development industry. And that’s why I’m hosting my free ๐๐๐ฉ๐ training on ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ & ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป where I’ll be talking about doing the inner work in greater detail as well as what the lack of representation is costing your business.
By joining me live you will also go into the draw to win a spot inside my signature online program REPRESENTED valued at $997 AUD.
