How to support people of colour inside your group programs when mindset blocks get in the way

If you are an online coach supporting people of colour in your group program, well done for attracting them as clients and being of service to them.

One of the major roadblocks a lot of people of colour encounter in group programs led by white coaches is the fact that they do not have the lived experience to fully understand the setbacks, challenges and barriers people of colour encounter.

If you’ve been wondering why their show up rate to calls is low, not meeting the goals they set out and are struggling to get visible, it could be because of the identity they hold that comes with unique challenges to them that you may never understand.

One of the ways you can be of great service to them is by collaborating with a person of colour who is trained and qualified to hold space for them and help them navigate the personal and professional barriers.

Ellie Swift, a 7-Figure Business Mentor, shares the transformation her clients who identify as Black, Brown, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) have experienced by having my support as a DEI coach and consultant to help them navigate their mindset blocks as well as the challenges they face as BIPOC.

Listen below to hear Ellie’s full thoughts.

If what Ellie has shared has resonated with you as a fellow online coach with a group program and you are seeking this kind of support for your BIPOC clients, HERE are some of the ways I can support you.
