You may care deeply about your clients, customers and community, but how do you know whether that care is being experienced by the people inside your business?
A culture of care cannot depend entirely on how caring we believe ourselves to be. It is shaped by what people repeatedly experience through our leadership, particularly when they need support, offer feedback, make a mistake, experience harm or have needs we did not anticipate.
In this episode, I introduce the four practices of CARE Leadership: Compassion, Accountability, Relationship and Equity.
We consider how compassion moves care towards action, why accountability requires us to examine the impact of our leadership, how relationships keep us connected to the people behind the enrolments and what role equity plays when it comes to identity, access and power.
You will also have an opportunity to reflect on where these practices may already be present in your online business, where they may be disconnected and what could be strengthened.
If this conversation brings parts of your own leadership to mind, join me for my free live workshop, Creating a Culture of Care In Your Business, on Tuesday 15 September at 10am AEST.
