OVERCOMING DISCRIMINATION TO GLOBAL DIVERSITY STRATEGIST
Fadzi Whande is a global diversity strategist and is the founder of The Whande Group which she began in 2015. Fadzi is also a human rights advocate and is the National Human Rights Program Convenor for the UN association of Australia. Fadzi currently sits on several boards and is an advisor to the University of Western Australia. Most recent, Fadzi runs a leadership and mentoring program called Sofa Sunday that supports young female leaders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
In this episode of True Life Stories, Fadzi shares with us some of the key moments in her life that have shaped the person she has become today. She talks about the encounters she and her family have faced the discrimination and how that has lead her to the work that she does. Fadzi is a dynamo for change and her ability to articulate circumstances and offer solutions is both inspiring and captivating.
