FROM ISOLATION TO SOCIAL CHANGE MAKER & INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKER

Nkandu Beltz was born in Katete, a small rural village in Eastern Zambia. From an early age, Nkandu learnt about the true meaning of Ubuntu from her grand father, an African philosophy that means the oneness of humanity. This very philosophy has played a big role in shaping who Nkandu is today. Nkandu is widely known for the many different roles she holds in her community in Western Australia and beyond. She is a social change maker, inspirational speaker, published author, TV talk show host of The Nkandu Beltz Show and a philanthropist.

Life hasn’t always been easy for Nkandu. When she first relocated to Australia with her family, they lived in one of the most remote towns in Western Australia. She experienced periods of isolation that led her to seek medical advice. Nkandu’s story is one that resonates with other people from different cultures who now call Australia home.
