Your website might speak beautifully about inclusion. Your welcome emails may sound thoughtful, your coaching materials culturally aware and your client communications full of care. But clients aren’t just buying into the quality of your words, they’re placing their trust in the person behind them, expecting the experience of working with you to reflect the values you’ve communicated.
As AI becomes an everyday part of running an online coaching business, there’s a growing concern we need to talk about. Could our increasing reliance on AI be affecting our critical thinking, self-trust and ability to engage in the deeper work of racial equity? And could we be becoming more articulate about inclusion without developing the competence to practise it i.e. polished but not practised?
In this episode, I’m examining the potential consequences of outsourcing our thinking, learning and even human interactions to AI, particularly for experienced coaches whose expertise and judgement are central to the relationships they build with clients. It’s a conversation about the gap between AI-assisted expressions of inclusion and the racial awareness, understanding and human capacity needed to create genuinely inclusive coaching experiences.
I’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU
